In Honor of the Poor Driving at Bridgestone...

A musical tribute. I can't help but wonder how a tire manufacturer like Bridgestone feels when the players at its tournament (played on a course called Firestone, no less) can't drive straight. The whole safari motif just begged for a soundtrack.

I confess that I seriously considered "I Wanna Be Like You" from The Jungle Book, as the contenders for #1 in the world rankings haven't been much more successful than King Louis. However, it's been a while since I got to hear Jethro Tull's "Bungle in the Jungle," and I might not get a chance this good again.

Plus, the title says it all, doesn't it?

The video is just a mishmash of concert footage, but it's about the best recording of the song I could find.

And I categorically deny that the line "I'm a tiger when I want love" had anything to do with my choice...
