Two videos today. The first is Justin Thomas's interview with Mike Tirico right after his round about how much the wind and cold affected his shots.
Clearly he had to make some serious guesses about how much the weather was affecting his shots, and he must have had some idea how much to adjust. But how do you get that knowledge? This video from Dan Whittaker might help. He's using a TrackMan and the iron he typically hits 155 yards to determine how much temperature and wind can affect shots. He tries several times so pay attention to the results he gets.
So it appears that the weather can easily take up to 20% of your normal distance off your shots. It's definitely something you'll want to take into account if you're playing in the cold and wind.
