After two weeks with the LPGA, Twofer Tuesday heads out to California and the PGA Tour's new season at the Fortinet Championship.
It's back to Napa CA for the beginning of the new season -- the last time we'll be having a wraparound season for the foreseeable future. Next year we'll have an actual break, lasting from August 2023-January 2024.
This year we're still playing, but we won't be seeing the big boys this week. They're getting ready for the Presidents Cup next week! (Although defending champion Max Homa and Taylor Pendrith are in the field.) So the possibilities are pretty wide open this week in Napa, especially with so many noobs from the Korn Ferry Tour teeing it up.
So I'm splitting my picks this week -- one from the KFT and one from the PGA Tour.
- Justin Suh
- Taylor Pendrith
Because California golf is prime time golf, GC's live coverage begins Thursday at 6pm ET. There will be some live streams on PGA TOUR LIVE but the listing is pretty short this time around. But I suppose the coverage will pick up some for the Presidents Cup next week.
