While the idea of a perfect swing for everyone is nice, the fact is that different players are going to have different swings. Players have different builds, different amounts of flexibility, and different tendencies in their swings... and they have to learn how to balance all those things. Alistair Davies has an interesting 'cut-off' drill here that can help you stop lunging toward the ball with your upper body. It's not for everybody but, if you keep coming over the top, you might find this drill helps you create the proper feel for a repeatable draw.
