While Russell says he's talking about the wrists, that's just the start of his explanation. He's explaining how, when you try to overdo one part of your swing (as in cocking the wrists too much), you automatically mess up the sequencing of the rest of the swing and introduce other problems. Fixing the first problem in the chain might automatically fix all the following errors! Always find the first problem in the sequence and fix it before moving on to the later problems.
