Haotong Li is the defending champion and first Asian to win this event. He set a record score of 23-under to beat Rory McIlroy by one stroke. Personally, I love that trophy. It's a huge replica of an Arabian coffee pot, which is where the trophy gets its name -- the Dallah Trophy.
And like the Farmers, the Omega Dubai has a loaded field. The biggest American name is Bryson DeChambeau but the field is a who's-who of players from around the world. You can check out the field at this link and find when your faves are teeing off.
Because of the time difference, GC begins their live first round coverage of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic TONIGHT at 11pm ET. And if I'm reading the schedule correctly, it's at least a four-and-a-half-hour broadcast window, perhaps as much as seven, so there will be lots of golf for all you ET fans out there!
