The Champions Tour is unusual in that its first two majors are sequential, two consecutive weeks of pressure cooker golf. And this week it's the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship.
Last year Alex Cejka won the first two majors but that won't happen this year. After only two events back -- and winning the Regions Tradition just two weeks ago -- Steve Stricker had to withdraw from this week's event after testing positive for COVID-19 on Friday.
The rest of the field will tee it up at Harbor Shores GC in Benton Harbor, Michigan and the favorite (once again) is Steven Alker. His two wins, two runner-ups, a third and a fifth so far this season have made him seem like the can't-lose kid.
GC's coverage starts at 1pm ET today. Stricker will be missed for sure, but the field is still stacked and hey, it's a major! What more can we ask?
