The Limerick Summary: 2022 CJ CUP

Rory McIlroy with CJ CUP trophy

My fortunes have turned, at least this week! For my Twofer Tuesday picks I had Rory McIlroy (1) and Jon Rahm (T4). I finally got another winner plus another Top5. Cool!

  • Top10s: 32 for 105 (21 Top5, 11Top10)
  • Winners: 5 for 53
  • Top20s: 48 for 105

He stumbled a bit at the end but Rory played so well in the middle of the final round that he built the necessary cushion to grab his 23rd PGA Tour win.

Rory also successfully defended his 2021 CJ CUP win, albeit on a different course.

And then he grabbed the #1 spot on the OWGR to top it all off.

I don't have any more words to describe what Rory's done over the last ten months. He's got three wins plus the FedExCup. And that's not counting the close calls he's had.

But I do have words to say congrats on another win and another Limerick Summary. You're really racking those babies up, Rors!

He’s back on the top of the heap!
Is the Number 1 Rory’s to keep

As the best? The climb up’s pretty steep!
