The DP World Tour plays its finale this week... and there will be a new champion this time around.
Defending champion Collin Morikawa withdrew from the event on Monday because of unspecified "upcoming personal commitments." Doesn't sound like injury, but it shouldn't affect the outcome since he's not really in position to win again this year.
Another notable player who won't be playing – although it isn't a surprise – is Will Zalatoris, who is #6 in the rankings but is still out with back problems.
That leaves the field pretty wide open, although Rory McIlroy and Ryan Fox are the favorites. If either wins, they take it all.
GC's live coverage starts TODAY at 6am ET. This should be a tightly contested event because so many of the players seem to be in top form coming in.
