I bet most of you will think the feeling these drills teach you is wrong, that it's too upright... but you're wrong. The fact is, power players tend to swing more upright than other players. If your swing isn't upright enough, you tend to move off the ball to create width and length of backswing rather than creating a strong shoulder coil. That causes you to mis-hit shots and lose distance. The drills Russell teaches you in this video will probably feel way too upright when you try them, but that's because you haven't been turning — you've just been leaning sideways. It's time to fix that!
