Twofer Tuesday heads southwest from the madness of the Presidents Cup for the quieter environs of Jackson MS and the Sanderson Farms Championship.
Jackson, Mississippi is about three hours north of New Orleans and the coast of the Gulf of Mexico. The weather is supposed to be in the 60s F with roughly 12mph winds and maybe 20% chance of rain each day. It should be good weather for defending champion Sam Burns, who is likely worn out after going 0-3-2 at the Presidents Cup and all night with Kevin Kisner's victory party.
The Country Club of Jackson is a par-72 measuring 7461 yards and, with only 2.5 inches of rough, birdies come pretty fast and thick. It's likely we'll see 20-under or better as the winning score, as that's been the case over the last five years.
So I'm back to picking the PGA Tour this week, and I'm going simple.
